East Coast Golf Management is proud to celebrate our very own Casey Cook, who was recently honored as the Merchandiser of the Year for the Carolinas PGA Section. Casey received this prestigious award at the Carolinas PGA Section Special Awards & Honors Dinner on February 16, 2025, at Greensboro Country Club, where he delivered a heartfelt and inspirational speech. This marks the second time Casey has earned this distinguished recognition, having previously won the award in 2022.
With this award, Casey is now in contention for the National Merchandiser of the Year, which will be presented next year at the National PGA Show in Orlando. His outstanding contributions to golf retail, course merchandising, and tournament branding continue to set the bar for excellence in the industry.
This recognition is especially prestigious given that the Carolinas PGA section is part of the largest golf market in the country. Casey’s work has been instrumental across all East Coast Golf Management’s properties, as well as with our Myrtle Beach Golf Trail marketing co-op member courses. His keen eye for product selection, innovative sales strategies, and ability to create compelling shopping experience have significantly enhance the retail presence at each of our managed clubs.
Beyond daily course operations, Casey also plays a pivotal role in Family Golf Week, the largest tournament of its kind in the world. His efforts ensure that the event’s merchandise stands out, providing players with top-quality apparel and equipment that enhance their tournament experience.
We are incredibly proud of Casey’s dedication and expertise. His passion for golf merchandising and his commitment to excellence make him a true asset to East Coast Golf Management and the broader golf community. Congratulations, Casey— we look forward to seeing your continued success!
Notably, Mike Buccerone, President of East Coast Golf Management, won the Carolinas Section Merchandiser of the Year award in 2008 and went on to win the National Merchandiser of the Year that same year. Casey follows in a proud tradition of excellence within our company, and we are excited to see ECGM grow from continued success.
