Located in the beautiful coastal town of Sunset Beach, North Carolina, Sea Trail Golf Resort is a premier destination boasting three championship 18-hole golf courses, two clubhouses, and five unique food and beverage outlets. In Fall 2023, as the resort embarked on a major renovation project to elevate its facilities and guest experience, East Coast Golf Management assumed leadership of day-to-day operations. Spearheading this transformation, we provide comprehensive management services to drive operational excellence, enhance guest satisfaction, and position Sea Trail as a top-tier resort destination.
Rivers Edge Golf Club
Set along the stunning Shallotte River in Shallotte, North Carolina, Rivers Edge Golf Club is an Arnold Palmer-designed treasure that seamlessly blends natural beauty with championship golf. Recognized as the 2023 Golf Course of the Year by the Myrtle Beach Golf Course Owners Association and a two-time Top 100 Golf Course by Golf Digest, this 18-hole course embarked on major renovations in 2023 to elevate its offerings even further. International Club of Myrtle Beach
Nestled in the beautiful low country of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, the International Club of Myrtle Beach is a premier golf destination. In late 2023, East Coast Golf Management took over day-to-day operations, bringing our comprehensive management services to the club. Early 2024 saw the launch of a full-scale renovation, including upgrades to the clubhouse, enhancements to the golf course, and the introduction of The Venue, a brand-new restaurant and bar. These improvements are designed to elevate the club’s offerings and establish it as a one-of-a-kind experience in the area.
The Myrtle Beach Golf Trail
Founded and operated by East Coast Golf Management, the Myrtle Beach Golf Trail is a collaborative marketing cooperative representing more than 25 premier golf courses throughout the Grand Strand. Designed to drive revenue, increase exposure, and strengthen the region’s golf industry, the Golf Trail provides participating courses with powerful destination marketing opportunities while connecting golfers to exceptional playing experiences. The Golf Trail also operates a highly successful membership program with more than 15,000 active members across 16 counties in North and South Carolina, delivering exclusive benefits to golfers while generating year-round rounds and revenue for partner courses.

Family Golf Week
For nearly three decades, Family Golf Week has brought families together through the game of golf, growing into one of the nation’s premier family golf events. Now entering its 29th annual year, the tournament welcomes more than 900 participants from across the United States and is home to the largest Father-Son Tournament of its kind. In addition to its signature Father-Son Team Classic, Family Golf Week also features the Family Team Classic, open to all family pairings, creating opportunities for golfers of every generation to compete and make lasting memories together. Hosted at Sea Trail Golf Resort and contested across nine premier golf courses throughout the Myrtle Beach area, Family Golf Week celebrates competition, camaraderie, and the unique bonds that are strengthened through the game of golf.
Gene’s Dream Foundation
Established to honor the life, legacy, and impact of Gene Weldon, the Gene’s Dream Foundation is dedicated to growing the game of golf by creating opportunities for the next generation of players. Inspired by Gene’s lifelong commitment to mentorship, leadership, and helping others reach their full potential, the foundation supports junior golf initiatives through youth programs, community partnerships, equipment donations, and fundraising efforts. In addition to investing in young golfers, the foundation proudly supports charitable organizations and causes that align with its mission of service and giving back.
